Description

Umlazi Fm plays a vital role in empowering remote and marginalized communities by providing a platform for sharing local news, culture, and promoting community development. However, many communities face barriers to accessing traditional broadcast-based community radio due to geographical limitations. To address this issue, we propose the development of an internet-based international radio system that will enable remote and marginalized communities to share their stories, local news, and culture online. We aim to bridge the digital divide and empower communities through the power of online broadcasting.
