DMCA & Copyright Policy

Last updated: February 2026

1. Our Role as an Aggregator

PanSignal is a directory and aggregation service that indexes publicly available internet radio streams. We do not host, store, upload, or rebroadcast any audio content. All streams are delivered directly from third-party broadcasters to your browser. PanSignal functions similarly to a search engine — we provide links to content, not the content itself.

2. DMCA Safe Harbor Notice

PanSignal respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. We respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law.

3. Filing a Takedown Notice

If you believe that a radio stream listed on PanSignal infringes your copyright, please submit a written notification containing the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the station name and URL as it appears on PanSignal, so we can locate it
  4. Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

4. How to Submit

Please send your DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent by email:

DMCA Agent

Please note: only DMCA notices should be sent to the designated agent. Other inquiries should be directed to contact@pansignal.com.

5. Our Response

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Promptly remove or disable access to the identified station listing
  • Make a good-faith attempt to notify the affected broadcaster, if possible
  • Document the notice for our records

6. Counter-Notification

If you are a broadcaster and believe your stream was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that was removed and its location on PanSignal before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, and telephone number
  • A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original complaint

7. Repeat Infringers

PanSignal maintains a policy to terminate or permanently delist stations that are the subject of repeated valid DMCA notices in appropriate circumstances.

8. Broadcaster Requests

If you are a radio station operator and would like your stream removed from PanSignal for any reason — not just copyright — please email us at station@pansignal.com. We will honor all broadcaster removal requests promptly.
